Through the practice of trichology, I address a wide variety of issues like hair loss, flakiness, oily scalp and more using a holistic combination of high frequency, infrared light, and now Trans-epidermal Delivery (TED) technologies with plant-based and organic topicals that deliver powerful results. While commercial supplements and shampoos may work for some, there is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution, because there are often multiple factors at play for each client. That’s why I spend time with each client, thoroughly interviewing and reviewing your concerns, medical history, lifestyle, and symptoms to find the best outcome for you. In some cases, we will work with your physician or I may refer you to a medical or holistic specialist to gain further insight of your internal health and how it may be affecting your scalp and hair.

Getting to the Root
Hi, my name is Laurel and I have been a licensed Cosmetologist for 24 years, and now I am a certified Trichologist. Trichology is the study of hair loss and scalp disorders using a holistic approach—meaning we look at the whole person to find the root cause of your concerns. I found trichology in the search for my own scalp and hair health after years of a frustrating hormone-based scalp imbalance. In addition to my passion for scalp and hair therapies, I offer traditional salon services like haircut design, haircolor, and brow shaping & tinting. I have a deep appreciation for unrefined texture and style.

If you are experiencing hair thinning, hair loss, or any scalp condition and you are unsure of what it is, why, or how to treat it, this in-depth analysis will help us understand the underlying causes of your concerns and symptoms, and how best to treat them.
You will receive a detailed questionnaire to fill out at least 48 hours in advance of your in-person appointment. This consultation will include a review of your intake form and scalp analysis with Trichoscope imaging in order to gain the most insight to your concerns.
Each client will receive a comprehensive packet in the days following the appointment with information and education about your condition, your scalp images, a proposed in-salon and/or at-home treatment plan tailored to your needs, and additional suggestions to help support your scalp and hair health. $50 of your consultation fee will be credited to an in-salon treatment, treatment package, or a LightStim handheld red light device for home use. Credit cannot be applied to other retail products.
Suggested products and treatment plans are sold separately. All consultations require a $50 non-refundable deposit.
Trichology Consultation w/Scalp Analysis

Deep Woods Scalp Rebalancing - Ideal for changing seasons, scalp buildup, repeat helmet/hat usage, and oily scalp and hair. An active lifestyle, hormonal imbalances, seasonal changes, and stress factors can increase sebum and oil production, leaving buildup on your scalp and hair. Damaging hard water minerals cling to the hair and attract oil, dead skin and dirt buildup. This treatment detoxifies your hair and scalp while leaving it healthy, balanced, hydrated, and smooth. A green clay mask is applied and massaged into the scalp while a hard water treatment is applied to the rest of your hair, both to remove excess harsh minerals, oils, and build-up. Hard Water Detox & Revival

This relaxing session includes 20 minutes under the light and light-blocking shades. To book, choose “LightStim Red Light - Single Session” under the Treatments tab.

Single sessions can support wound healing, acute scalp discomfort, psoriasis flares, and overall scalp and skin health, or be added to other services.
