Through the practice of trichology, I address a wide variety of issues like hair loss, weak and thinning hair, flakiness, oily scalp and more using a holistic combination of high frequency, infrared light, and Trans-Epidermal Delivery (TED) technologies with topicals that deliver powerful results. There is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution to hair and scalp disorders, because there are often multiple factors at play for each person.
That’s why I spend time with each client, thoroughly interviewing and reviewing your concerns, medical history, lifestyle, and symptoms to find the best outcome for you. I hold a certification through the World Trichology Society to read blood work trichologically for optimizing hair growth. In some cases, we will work with your physician or I may refer you to a medical or holistic specialist to gain further insight of your internal health and how it may be affecting your scalp and hair.
I am a member of the Association of Professional Trichologists and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Getting to the Root
Hi, my name is Laurel Stoughton and I have been a licensed Cosmetologist for 25 years, and a now I am a Certified Trichologist. Trichology is the study of hair loss and scalp disorders using a holistic approach—meaning we look at the whole person to find the root cause of your concerns. I found trichology in the search for my own scalp and hair health after years of a frustrating hormone-based scalp imbalance. In addition to my passion for scalp and hair therapies, I offer traditional salon services like haircut design, haircolor, and brow shaping & tinting. I have a deep appreciation for natural hair texture and unrefined styles. I aim to use products that are better for our bodies and for the earth.
